Q: How is the SKEETER WEEPER solution safe for both humans and pets?

A: The SKEETER WEEPER solution excludes chemical pesticides and pet-toxic natural ingredients that are found in other natural formulas like vinegar, alcohol, peppermint, and citronella oils. Instead, SKEETER WEEPER includes active ingredients containing a blend of pure Lemon Balm and Cedarwood oils.

Is the formula safe around pet reptiles, chickens, ducks, quail, and rabbits?

While our main formula is safe around pets including dogs and cats- we don’t recommend it if pet reptiles, chickens, ducks, and rabbits live in close proximity to the system. This is because it also contains natural cedarwood oil.
We offer customers with pet reptiles, chicken coops or rabbit hutches in close proximity, an alternate version of our formula that does not contain cedarwood. It is offered for the same price. Is this safe for honeybees?

Yes! SKEETER WEEPER is safe around honeybees and other pollinators. Did you know, lemon balm oil is also known as "Melissa" oil which is Greek for "honeybee"? Pollinators love it, mosquitos detest it!

Can this harm the different plants I have in the misting zone?

None of the natural ingredients used have shown any adverse impact on the vegetation tested. In fact, by reducing aphids and other harmful pests while encouraging pollinators with lemon balm oil, customers have found this system beneficial to the overall health of their plants when used as directed.
